While many of the major brands such as 2nd Wind, Cybex Fitness, Pro Form, Merit and Bowflex come with solid warranties when buying a new machine, the prices can be quite high on the major brands so there is a cost/risk equation to consider. That being said, should your treadmill motor ever break down or should you find yourself in need of some hard to find part, the warranty will certainly come in handy as repair men don’t come cheap.
